No Fridge

Our fridge was slowly fading in its ability to keep things cold. Ice cubes would take a day or two to form, that sort of thing.

So we called the ubiquitious LG guys, who came out and proclaimed that the fridge would have to be taken in to the shop. And on Friday evening they did just that. Estimates of when it will be returned have since lengthened from 24 hours to a week. Promises of a replacement fridge have failed to materialize.

Oh well, life is not so bad. We have UHT milk, which does not need to be refridgerated (until you open it), so we open a box each morning for our cereal, and then the girls have chocolate milk for mid-morning snack with what is left of the liter box.

Sounds like a good excuse to go out to eat! :)
