OK...so in the run up to a little celebration we will have for my folks this coming weekend, I hope to post a few pictures.
When my Mom first met my Dad (they were both in Canada at the time) in the late 1950's, her first impression is that he was a "Hot Shot Amishman".
Hmmmm, doesn't look very Amish in this photo.

I love this picture. Never saw this one before. No, he really doesn't look like a "hot shot Amishman" to me. He looks like the nice young man he was and still is.
You should see your grandfather's picture when he was about the same age. Now that was a "Hot-shot Amishman" Haaa
